Profile

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Genetics and Cell Biology from Dublin City University and a Master’s in Biohealth Engineering and Precision Medicine through the Erasmus Mundus Programme BeInPM. For my Master’s, I conducted my thesis at the University of Barcelona, where I explored the role of extracellular vesicles in driving inflammation and neurodegeneration.
Currently, I am a PhD researcher at the Josep Carreras Leukaemia Research Institute, where my project focuses on developing a novel therapeutic molecular platform with anti-lymphoma properties. My research aims to engineer exosomes as effective delivery systems for RNA interference technology, paving the way for innovative and targeted therapeutic strategies in blood cancers.
