Profile

Galina, born in 1998 in Kazakhstan, studied Biotechnology in Saint Petersburg, Russia. Supported by a DAAD international award, she earned a Master’s degree in Immunology and Systems Biology at the University of Bonn, Germany (2022-2024). In 2025, thanks to the MSCA co-funded CarrerasPathfinders doctoral program, she joined Javierre lab at  Josep Carreras Leukaemia Research Institute to pursue her PhD in Bioinformatics. Research interests: cancer research, immunology, 3D genome organisation, bioinformatics
